Don't Ruin the Mystery

Today we were talking about the news that Anna Nichole Smith had died. There was some discussion about her age ("Was she old and gray?" "No, she was my age" "Did she die of old age?" "No, she's my age, she's too young to die of old age" "How old are you Mommy?") The girls really wanted to know how she died. When I said that nobody knew how she died and that the police were investigating that started some speculation as to how she might have met her fate.

Erika: "Maybe somebody killed her - that's a real mystery."

Sasha: "Maybe she just got sick and died."

Erika: "Sasha, that's ruining the mystery! Stop saying that - I want to keep thinking about the mystery of how she died."
