Some things just don't sound right unless you know the context of the conversation. Take this evening for example: the six of us were playing Perudo (a dice game). Sasha was my partner and sitting on my lap. After our turn, I whispered to Sasha to please go get me a beer from the fridge and a bottle opener. A few minutes later, in a lull in the conversation, everyone hears Sasha shout from the kitchen "Mom! There's no more beer!!"
Everyone looked shocked until I explained that I had asked Sasha to go for me and that no, she was not now drinking beer. See? Totally out of context!
