Wow - do we have pounds of candy!! Our neighborhood has got to be the busiest in Canby during Halloween. I know people who've spent $100 or more on candy. We typically get over 200 trick-or-treaters. People come in vans from other parts of town. There is no parking left on the entrance street. Nearly all houses give out treats - good ones too - a few have adults dressed up and scaring the big kids when they pass by. Tante Michelle's kind of neighborhood!
The girls didn't eat a single piece of candy on Halloween. When I pulled in the garage at five, the two of them came racing out in their costumes and declared "It's time to go trick-or-treating!" The original plan was to go to dinner first but that was quickly overruled by the short people. After 2 hours of trick-or-treating, we came back and went out to dinner. They fell asleep in the car on the ride home from dinner. They didn't even get a chance to look through the loot.
Today was free candy day - no restrictions on input - to make up for it.
