Today we decorated the Christmas tree. We got the tree yesterday but needed to keep it in the garage overnight to dry since it had been raining (raining in Oregon in December - what a shock.) The first words out of the girls' mouths this morning was "Let's decorate the tree!" We actually didn't get around to it until after dinner, but that's another story. I started by getting the lights and garland on, occassionally getting "help" to put it on the tree. Once that was all done, they put the finishing touches on by putting all the ornaments on the tree. Tommorow I'll need to go back and move a few ornaments above four and a half feet, but I think they did a pretty good job!
